Join Seattle Trails, Seattle Parks and Recreation and Eddie Bauer as we work in one of Seattle’s historic and majestic parks. Discovery Park is the largest park in the city and has miles and miles of trail. We will be working to help grade and surface trails and provide equitable access to the diverse users of this park. Lots of grubbing and wheelbarrows so come prepared to sweat it out! After the project stick around to check out the Lighthouse and the many other elements of this great park! We will provide gloves, tools, and direction. Eddie Bauer will provide lunch for the first 35 individuals who RSVP for the project. Please bring your water bottle.
Detailed Directions to Event Location:Project is nearly at the end of Discovery Park Road. There is no parking near the site. We would prefer that groups drop off participants at the site and then Park in the South Parking Lot using the entrance to the park on W. Emerson Street. We will have a shuttle van in the parking lot to bring drivers back to the site from 8:45 to 9:30AM. If you arrive late then walk NW on the Loop Trail and connect with the South Beach Trail to reach the site.
Bookings are closed for this event.
